Relay with 2 wires used on 4-stroke and 2-stroke engines equipped with electric start. Sometimes referred to as a starter solenoid. Wire length is approximately 10 inches. 2 pin male connector end. This is a very common relay used in all sizes of full size scooters, atvs, go karts, and dirt bikes of engine sizes 50cc – 250cc. I am building a go kart and i am using a somewhat large lawn mower engine. Where can i find or buy a go kart frame thats big enough to fit this engine on it an its to much money to buy the metal an get someone to weld it. I would really like something like a two seater and over heads bars like roll bars but any suggestions would be great? I dont wanta send more than $250 on a frame.

The simple answer is, Google It.
Another way, (How I done it) was to join a racing team, and the mechanic or owner would find one for you, (First and Second hand).
Also, try eBay – there are many new and powerful go karts which are quite cheap, for example, you may find a £1250 go kart, but on eBay, after bidding they are usually about £750.
Don't forget that there are many go karting championships, and depending on your age and weight, you will need to find your class, which specifies what type of engines you can use, etc.
Please note that just because you have a go kart does NOT mean you may turn up to races and race straight away. You will need to have a ARKS test (www.arks.co.uk) and pending that you succeed, you then will have to apply for a MSA license, and then you may start racing in championships and test days.
Not forgetting that Karting is a very expensive sport, and will require financial commitment.
Also remember that with me, i spend about £400 per race, this includes tyres, etc.

Can I use a golf cart engine, a boat engine, a motor scooter or anything else as a Go Kart engine. And what is the best engine to use for the go kart…Horizital or vertical and why??? Does anyone know where i can find one.
side shaft engines are best...check with any tractor supply store or small engine repair shop... I used a 15hp chain saw engine.... the cart could do 65mph
