CAN YOU WELD A PIT BIKE EXHAUST TO A LAWNMOWER IF NOT WHAT CAN I DOO TO MAKE IT SOUND AWSOME?

i have a lawnmower engine on my kart and i want to mak it sound better can i weld a pitbike exhaust to it or what else can i do to make it sound awsome thank you

Helpful to know what kind/size engine you're running. Some Briggs and Tecumsehs have exhaust port threaded for 3/4 inch pipe thread or 1 inch pipe thread- simple piece of plumbing pipe 4 inchs long with a old VW beetle chromed tip clamped to pipe gives a slighlty mellowed straight pipe sound. Honda 10-13 hp horizontal shaft utility engines have a flanged bolt on mount for muffler that also has a flanged pipe available for remote muffler use- can use flexpipe and simple baffled cone for spark arrestor , will be loud but not as nasty as straight pipe.
'Awsome' sounds are not usually performance enhancers- the sounds are negative attraction and may cause you to explain to officer why you're disturbing peace. If riding in public trail and you don't have spark arrestor you may be required to shut off engine and push cart to roadside- any back talk from you will get cart confiscated as fire hazard and you get court appearance.

how to make a good go cart?

i was wanting to make a go cart to drive around in my backyard. i don't know what to use to get started. what type of wheels should i use. what kind of motor should i use. how do i build a frame. i need help on everything can you please help me.

It's not easy building your own. You have to be mechanically inclined , You have to know how to weld and how to work on small engines. i would say look for a cheap go cart somewhere and rebuild that.

What can I sell a used, e-z-go golf cart for?

It's a 90-something..Needs a little paint. Needs a little piece of the frame welded back on, runs.

I will tell you this. If you can find someone to make some of the changes of appearance and a quick frame mold. I would do so first.

Then if looks good and runs good, and batteries are good assuming it is not a gas engine.

You could get up to 5 to 600.

If it runs "descent" and doesn't look to good…..Let's put it another way, it's like selling a house a few minor things like landscaping make a big difference in how much and how fast it will sell.

Just don't put a bunch of money into it. I would put 150 to 200 into it looking and running great and then make a 400 profit.

Good Luck

100j Go kart engine would suit which age?

what would a yamaha 100j go kart suit?

I'm not sure what the difference is between the 100j and normal yamaha KT100, I'm assuming the 100j would be for the 12-15 age group and maybe 8-11.

The normal KT100 is commonly raced by adults too, I believe they can make 20+hp with a pipe exhaust.

How fast will a 9hp engine go on a little go kart frame?

It is a mantis rototiller engine. (9hp) It has allot of torque! It is going on a little go kart frame. My son weighs around 100pounds.

It depends entirely on the gear ratio and the tire size.

You can fix it for fast acceleration and low top speed with lots of torque

or

slow acceleration and high top speed with less torque.
