Which motor scooter/’mini’ electric bike or go-kart should I get?

I want one for Christmas, and it shouldn’t be more than $450. Also, it has to be able to seat someone about 5’10 130 pounds and go at least 15 mph.

go kart racing does anyone know a good set up?

for any of you fellow go kart racers out there i run a t&m chassis, made in 2000, on a 1/5 mile track and wonder what some good racing set ups would be for me to try i have to weigh 330 with my kart and i race a 6.5 hp animal motor

Build a go kart and I really need some help?

as a summer project I’m building a go kart (off road). my question is: what do I need (more engine wise than anything) I already know horizontal engine would be best and that is all I understand right now.

I also understand the chassi deal as well.

It really depends on how much power you think you’ll need. For a light weight, single seater, a mere 10 or 12 HP will pull you right along pretty nicely. If it’s a two seater complete with a roll cage or you plan on some serious off roading, I’d be looking for a motorcycle engine or at least a twin cylinder industrial engine from a riding lawnmower or similar vehicle.
