Ok so I’m really into making a go kart but I only have maybe 100$ to spend. How would I make one?
What power source? (Im not pedaling!)
what would I make the chassis out of?
For the chassis, what material could i use? wood, pvc pipe, anything cheap and found at my local lowes.
To power it, could I use a cordless drill? how much HP would that punch out?
This isnt for racing.

Thick Plywood for chassis about 3ft x 6ft and 1" thick.
2 x 4"x6" for axles.
4 x wagon wheels.
4 x 20 penny nails.
3-4 ft rope for steering.
Ok, this will get you something with 4 wheels that will roll downhill for about $30-40. Possibly you can put a chainsaw motor to power a wheel and mostly to make vroom vroom noises as you roll downhill mostly powered by gravity.
She says we should go out more rather than staying in most of the time. So for tomorrow night these are my options.
Comedy Club: Cost $24 for 90 minute show (she loves to laugh)
Park: something she suggested, close to her house. But wth to do there? She likes to play footbal and mentioned that I could chase her…COST? ZERO.
Waterfront: also something she suggested. Beaches there, but not much to do, just restaurants and we will already have eaten at her parents and she does not drink. COST? ZERO.
OTHER PARK: my idea, they have batting cages, laser tag, go karts, put put golf, (golf and go karts we already did other places) but it is dirt cheap and a huge park with a fair ammount of stuff to do.
Paintball: fun, but short duration, COST: $40!!!!
I am open to other suggestions…

There is a really nice track in The Ocean City Maryland and it was great! There was about 7 of us racing-I was the orange cart of course and it was fast and crazy. Came in 3rd not too bad huh?
This is getting really freaky! I love go-karts and have spent far more on them in Ocean City than on alcohol. I like Speedworld at Jolly Roger, but Baja in West OC is also good. There was a decent track in N. Va (can’t remember where) and the only one in Baltimore is out on Rt 40 in the Essex area.
I got so far into go-karts that I actually did club racing with real cars for a short time back in the 90s.
Where can I get good shifter kart blue pints that work and are reliable?
You will probably have to go to a manufacturer of the karts themselves and ask them directly. Good Luck!
ok so i found it on craigslist made a deal for it gonna go see it tomorrow the seller said they dont know anything about it but her boyfriend said its a 6.5 hp motor. the kart is sitting out side im not a big mechanic so i just need some pointers on what i should be looking for, for major problems ive been making a mental list starts with welds on frame then alittle at the wheels and axles steering parts air filter im not sure what else i should look at throttle parts..? here is a picture the ad says 6.5 hp motor but the pictured motor looks small to me for 6.5 but i dont know if that matters thanks for any help

Id get a mechanic to go with you to be safe,it does not look 100% to me,.
