go cart fumes and pregnancy?

I just went go-kart riding with kids in a semi-open track (open on one end). I am 6 weeks pregnant and it didn’t really occur to me until too late that the fumes might not be good for my baby. (I haven’t told anyone I was prego yet, btw). Please tell me that 5-10 minutes of exposure is ok!!

So, in order for the baby to have been hurt, you would have had to have exhibited symptoms yourself. As long as you were okay, the baby should be fine. Of course, the best thing to do is to follow up with your Obstetrician to be 100% certain.

in manila, try TRS ( tuason racing school ) they teach from kart to saloon cars to open wheel formula, excellent kart track in Carmona, i hear they have an excellent program there too, in cebu we have Kartzone, also with an excellent karting program…

karting is very much alive in the phils, from the ROK class, to the Rotax 125 class, Yamaha KT`s to the cadet class where your child should belong…

racing very competetive , excellent mix of nationalities… asians, europeans… etc…

Go kart laws in washington?

I wanted to buy a go kart for my kids (okay, myself, but they’ll ride it too). But my wife raised some good questions and I can’t find the answers anywere. What are the do’s and don’ts for go karts in washington? Particulary, pierce county? We have a house in the inside of a cul de sac with a backyard and front yard. Can the kids run them around the house? In the cul de sac? Or do I have to go all the way to the middle of nowhere to ride around?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

i don’t think you can ride in the Cull De Sac but you can probably ride in your own yard and others with permission. you can definitely go to the middle of nowhere to ride though.

We put new clutch in it, when we have it on jacks it acts fine. We put it down and try to ride it don’t go very fast. The childs total weight is only 75 lbs.
