What does it take to make a go kart street legal?
Posted by admin | Under go kart seat Wednesday Jun 24, 2009so i was thinking of building a go kart. What does it take to make it street legal and make it pass all inspections. For example. i know that it needs seat belts and all that. But, what else are the other requirements it need to be allowed on the road?
It can not be done you have to have all Federal and state as well as epa certifications and frame builder certifications and you have to be old enough to get a drivers license.
Trade it in for a car/truck.

Insurance, registration and a license for starters but since it will have four wheels then it would classified the same as a car but still it would never be allowed on the road.
