   Better off fixing up an old one. After materials for frame finding an engine, seat, wheels,motor and gears. Better off rebuilding.

   you’ll need to buy somekind of engine and wheels, actually all the parts if you wish to have a go kart. You could try to make some kind of mobile but you’ll still need to buy an engine and wheels.

   The basics you’ll need are some kind of spinning thing to turn the wheels, a mechanism to transfer from the engine (spinning thing) to the wheels (usually a belt or chain type drive). Wheels themselves, a frame and something to sit in. Oh and some steering. Good luck.
