<p>Just changed to 4 x 1Kw motors, will post an update, really, when starting up the 1kw motors are putting out a lot more (probably 1.5kw), the old 300w motors were putting out more like 500w on start up, got very hot, fine on flat ground but in the mud etc they could burn out (I melted one) just as well the PWM is an overkill.  With the 1Kv motors it feels like it will go anywhere and knocks you back in the seat when it takes off.  (I will see if it goes anywhere and post the video!)<br />

Go kart has a homemade frame driven by a 36 volt caterpillar motor if anyone recognizes it please tell me the model so I can find the specs. Its controlled by a 36 to 48 volt Curtis controller that just doesn&#8217;t have enough umpff to power this large motor it is only used for taking off then I use the relays to accelerate.
