Another one of my dingos, named the “pride cart” because it is purple. This is the newer of the 285s. it has an updated frame, sports a seat belt and is supposed to have a full cage. Like the path winder, it uses that OHV Tecumseh motor, though this one seems to run better. It also has a different carb than the path winder, which apparently is good for 0.5 more hp? sure, why not.

Here I have installed the hoop for the steering column and tied it to the front end with side rails. At this point the frame is still very light. Next I need to add some diagonal structural ties between the top side rail and the bottom side rail and from the steering hoop to the main roll bar hoop.

Donuts, jumping, sliding around, and a little cruising.
Just to let everyone know, no scenes are repeated. I broke down the long footage.
Took my gokart for a quick spin. It’s a Manco Baja 200, sturdy as frame. 6.5 hp honda clone from harbor freight, brand is central machinery. Also has a 30 series comet torque converter.
Something very interesting if you have good speakers... play the very beginning of this video in normal quality then high quality and you will hear the songs quality actually increase too... I thought it was just the video.

go-cart fuel vaporizer running
Posted by admin | Under petrol go karts Wednesday Sep 16, 2009
this go-cart has a bad carb and and does not have any fuel in the tank. the vaporizer is a bottle with one tube sucking air and bubbling the fuel while the other tube sucks the gas vapors into the carb to the engine. the sip cap on the top of the bottle is used as a choke. as you can see it doesn’t go fast because either i have too much fuel going into the engine or it isn’t getting enough fuel or there is to much air coming in or not enough air coming in. if you have any questions send me a message.
