135 mph+ 200cc Two Engine Laydown Go Karts Road Racing
So …….sound. This vid has no sound now because I edited in what I thought were a couple of good songs intermixed with the normal race sounds. So anyway, this music that I payed for and mixed in for fun, no profit whatsoever gets me sent some inbox note that says “someone has claimed that you used copyrighted materials in your video” and the only way to repost was to mute the audio. Real classy YouTube and/or whatever artist and company this Copyrighted material belongs to. I suppose honest people shouldn’t actually go out and buy your music anymore as I did. Ok, theres my venting, just makes me mad when I support someone and like to have music I enjoy mixed with my home video as free publicity for them, and no profit for me and they disallow it! Whats the world coming to.

New and Improved Electric Go-Kart Project
we re-vamped the electric go kart. it now goes faster and looks cooler, now in red!
this a short video of the electric go kart. We started out with a gasoline powered go kart frame/kit, and converted it all to electric then assembled it. it took about 6 weeks, and it still isn’t completely done. It uses a Kelly PWM controller and a MET motor running on 24v.

Galletta’s Go-Karts 2009 Vol 4 Highlights Part 2 from 7/5/2009 RACING & CRASH CLIPS
http://gallettasgreenhouse.com/gokarts/20090705.html
Galletta’s Karting Club – 2009 Season, Week 4 (Part 2 of 2):
The Gas Flathead Championship Series of Oswego, NY continued on
Sunday, July 5th, 2009 at John J. Galletta Memorial Speedway:
After Buddy Cottom won the first 30-lap feature, we inverted the field for the second. A small pileup occurred on lap one when Fred Collins lost a chain (due to a hub that is now getting replaced) then enabled Chris Stevens to take the lead. Gary Miller and Buddy Cottom ran strong, but both of their karts succumbed to the 60 laps of racing, setting up the always tremendous battle between brothers Cris and Matt Stevens – the Galletta’s Karting Club Founders – which harked back to the early 1990s when it was ONLY Chris and Matt out there. Chris, who considers himself to be the only “Matt-stopper”, was able to hold off Matt’s advances, although Mighty Matty took his patented slingshot move on the final lap to try to get his 3rd win of the year. 1st – Chris (#8) gave him plenty of room, nipped him by a bumper, and took his first win since last season. 2nd – Matt Stevens (#33), 3rd – Melissa Stevens (#80), 4th – Soliman Barakat (#4), 5th – Asaad Al-Hanami (#1), 6th – Gary Miller (#24/DNF), 7th – Fred Collins (#9/DNF), 8th – Buddy Cottom (#6/DNF), 9th – Kelly Miller (#4/DNS), and 10th – Austin Hicks #0/DNS). Credited with 11th-13th were Rookie Powder-Puff drivers Nazeha Al-Hanini, Terry Miller, and Neaiamh Al-Hanini.
NOTE: All karts are 1-WD and all Motors are 1-WD 5hp Gas Flatheads with Stock ’90s Carb, shaved head, and select pre-approved Dyno Racing Cams. This means fast, equal speeds and, cheater-free engine-builders, all for low prices.
Galletta’s Go-Karting Club races eight to fifteen extremely affordable Gas Flathead-powered Go-Karts competitively every weekend between June through November annually behind Galletta’s Greenhouse in Oswego, NY, USA. Our racing karts are built to be highly affordable, with fast speeds and safety for low prices – so people who will bash and say, “they’re slow” and “they turn the wrong way” will either get ripped and/or just deleted were not looking to make the fastest race cars, were looking to make the most equalized and affordable racing machines known to man and race friends and family FOR FUN! The point is to make a highly competitive racing club for roughly $400-700 per kart (instead of the cookie-cutter methanol racing karts which cost $3,000-7,000) and extremely cheap expenses – 1-WD, gas run, and a limit on parts to keep things VERY affordable and VERY fast. We also tally points, and have weekly pictures, videos, and website descriptions to every race, including every year of our history (since 1996) and every single race since 2005, which most high-end WKA/NKA-esque kart series dont do.
These are low-resolution highlight reels from our much higher-quality DVDs, which are available on our website for $5 each, and go from one hour to three hours each, PACKED with clean, exciting racing action, and the occasional fantastic flip or crash. We’re always looking for new people (rookie or experienced vet) to join us! We have 12 karts, many of them are open for newcomers almost every race. Come on out!
