295/300cc polaris engine test for go kart

the first run after replacing a couple of parts. the oil mixture is a little rich, because it hadn’t been run in a while. This is to become the engine in the go kart that I am going to build.

There was no stock 295 Polaris fan 2 stroke twin ever put in a quad. And I would know. I am a vintage snowmobile collector and a memeber of the Antique and Classic Snowmobile Club of Canada.

well, is it fan cooled? if not, don’t even bother. even better would be to find a liquid cooled one and mount the radiator above your head behind your seat.

300cc is nothing. the biggest 2 stroke snowmobile I have seen and heard of, is 900cc. yamaha makes 1000cc (1L) but they start going 4 stroke after that
