Can someone tell me how to put a lawn mower engine on a wooden go-kart frame ?

Is it a down shaft or side shaft motor?
either way you will have to replace the mower blade with either a gear or pulley, to transfer the power to the wheel.

but as far as just putting it on the frame, you just bolt it down.

Dan S:

you need to mount it to the frame in a away that you can mount a centrifugal clutch parallel to the rear axle. Then two sprokets and a chaing connecting the two. the centrifugal clutch makes it so you can have a “gas pedal” hooked up to the throttle it wont engage the clutch untill it hits a certain RPM, much like a stall converter in an automatic transmission in your car.

hope that helps.
